Mobile Patent Portfolio of Leading Players
Chetan Sharma:

Mobile is becoming the most critical tool to drive human ingenuity and technological growth. It is useful to understand the mobile patent landscape, the companies that are shaping up the ecosystem, their respective strengths and weaknesses, and how their strategies are evolving in the key jurisdictions of the US and European markets.

Nokia is strong as always but Samsung has been the most busy player in recent years. Also; the US is clearly outrunning Europe since 2004-2005. Download the report for free here (pdf-link).

thoughts about blogging

Blogging is an amazing thing, especially since there are topics in all genres!  I eventually will start blogging on this new account, because it is going to be an amazing venue to express my thoughts and opinions.  Eventually I will also use it to market and promote myself in the technical field, to eventually branch out and work for myself vice corporate America.  Ahhh the freedom, that would be in such a competitive field.

I believe also I could help people, in layman terms to understand better the worldwide web, and the backbone, DNS, nameservers, MX records, and the simple way to set up their hosting, and website, without it being just unreachable because the lingo may be above their head, when in reality it is teachable if you have the right techie holding your hand.  ((wink)  So I’ll share simple tutorials.

I have been taught throughout the years from some amazing mentors, who took the time to explain things to me, some of it way over my head, and other things easily comprehended easily by me.  So I believe blogging, I’ll be able to make a difference, even if it is one person … that is all it takes.  While I am no expert, I am definitely knowledgeable and can share some pretty amazing things that work well and help anyone succeed!

Lastly, I like fun and I am creative, so if planting the seed within one individual who shares common interests in the tech field is doable, then I am all for it.
